In Celebration of Ruby’s Life - Funeral Expenses and Bills
Donation protected
Hello everyone,
As some of you know we have recently lost our grandmother, Ruby Pedroza. When she was diagnosed with T-Cell Lymphoma, we were told we didn’t have much time with her but she went through 27 sessions of radiation and beat it. Even with a feeding tube, she was not done fighting; we went to Vegas and she loved to eat out whenever we could. She is a true fighter and was not ready to give up.
For those who didn’t know her, many called her “Auntie Blackie.” She was a loving woman who took anyone and everyone in. Whoever needed help, she always had her doors open. She blasted oldies constantly and loved her family dearly.
More recently, she got pneumonia which was something she had knocked out quickly in the past. In a lot of ways, we were not ready for when God called her home.
We were reluctant to make a go fund me because we thought we were prepared. However, nothing could have prepared us to lose our matriarch. Any donations/funds would help us with furthering our arrangements and bills that continue to come in. I understand that this is last minute so anything at all would be appreciated and used towards these continued expenses.
Much love,
Ruby’s Family
