Suzanne's Medical Fund

Mrs. Cuva is my friend and colleague, we both teach Kindergarten in Dallas at an inner city school.  She has dedicated 30 + years to teaching children and investing in their lives.

A few months ago Mrs. Cuva shared with me her journey with lung disease. For 8 years she has fought this battle and is determined to keep fighting! Her next step in this journey is a procedure that hopefully will improve her quality of life. The procedure is experimental therefore it is not covered by insurance, but she is very optimistic that the procedure will be a success.

Mrs. Cuva is married with two sons and is a grandmother to three young grandkids (5mo, 2, and 3). I can see how much she loves being a grandmother and how much joy her grandchildren brings to her life. She is really looking forward to seeing them grow up, and her greatest fear is losing this opportunity.

I started this gofundme.com account to raise money for the medical procedure because unfortunately her medical insurance will not cover the $12,000 needed. This procedure could potentially save her life. Through this gofundme.com campaign I am reaching out to Mrs. Cuva’s family, friends, and colleagues for financial support as she continues to fight this battle.
