Scumbags broke into my friends houseboat :(

Hi, my name is Liv. I have known my friend Katie for years. We know the ins and outs of each others lives and are always there in times of need, even if we don’t talk every day and we are hundreds of miles apart.

Last night, some evil scumbag/s decided to break into her houseboat, turn the whole place upside down, steal all her savings, things of high value and ruin her safe haven. She has been through hell and back and I will do anything to help her, I hope you can too.

I am beyond angry and upset for her and hopefully the idiots who have done this will get caught.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated to help her get back on her feet

Back story from Katie -

This is going to be a bit of a long post but my boat was burgled yesterday and everything I had that was sentimental, or held slight value was taken. All money and ID and bank card gone, all power tools, all power banks and jump starter battery pack, printer, games console, everything gone. They left the hatch wide open so everything was also soaked. I am moored at Hayes and harlington.

The people responsible will probably never read this but it’s ok. This past year has been one of the worst years of my life. I have never had an easy life under any circumstances. I have been estranged from parents, I have been homeless, I have been in care, I have been alone, I have been suicidal and this past year I have overcome cervical cancer. I have lost use of my womb and ovaries, I now struggle with the menopause and I have lost my comfort in my home.

If you are struggling, you could have asked me. I would have given you my last penny if you needed it but you decided to take it all and more.

I can’t thank you all enough for your kindness. From reading this, you can tell just how grateful I am for even a CRUMB.
