We adopted Scully just one month ago from a rescue organization. They shall remain unnamed, but they neglected to inform us that she has two bad knees! One knee has a (super painful) torn ligament, which requires surgery.
We can't really afford the surgery, and we looked into rehoming...but quickly realized that for an injured dog, that's basically a death sentence. We couldn't do it! This little girl is only 2 years old, and is so funny and affectionate despite being in pain. We're very in love with her already.
This surgery would let her do regular dog things - go on walks, play with her creepy, mangled toys - for the rest of her dog years. It would mean everything if we could give her the pain-free life she deserves.
