Scully needs some help

Greetings to all!
For those of you who wandered onto my fundraiser, my name is Joy and my dog Scully has been, until recently, a very healthy, enthusiastic and active senior. But on routine bloodwork, we discovered her liver enzymes were through the roof, indicating she has developed liver disease. During follow-up testing, her heart suddenly developed a dangerously slow heartbeat called 3rd-degree heart block, which has made treatment more complicated and expensive. The cost of medical procedures, medications, and tests so far have stacked up quicker than a Chihuahua can blink. And still hanging over us is the likelihood she'll need a pacemaker, which is costly but could give her more time to enjoy lying in the sun, snacking on string beans, and climbing into the UPS truck to visit her driver friend. Her veterinarians are still working on the best treatment and care so she can have the best possible quality of life however long that might prove to be. Scully's been my best pal since I adopted her as a malnourished two-year-old from Philadelphia's Animal Care and Control in 2012. She kept a close watch over me through the pandemic's lockdown when I was worried and scared and had no one else I could safely hug. She’s taught me to slow down, when possible, to enjoy the sights and scents encountered on a walk rather than just getting from here to there. And she has shown me that it's not so hard to make friends if you just wag your tail in a friendly manner while pushing your way up the steps to sit with strangers on their stoop on a warm, sunny day.
As some of you may know, I’m on disability and am only able to work on a part-time basis so I’m living on a limited income, which is why I started this GoFundMe. All funds raised will be used toward Scully's veterinary bills and medications.
A whole-hearted thank you for any and all contributions.
