Help the Scudds family, who need support.

Hi, my name is Jason and I'm raising money for my best friend Chantel and her family. Chantel was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the young age of 39. Initially she attended the ED with stomach pain. Two days later she had a bowel resection and 27 lymph nodes removed. The doctor said the tumour had torn right through her bowel. This was November 2020.

Chantel was fit and healthy. A busy mum to two children, a loving wife and a dedicated full time Social Worker. Always dedicated her life to helping others.

In the past 2 years, Chantel has been through numerous rounds of chemotherapy, a clinical trial and numerous operations - too many to count. Although we so desperately want these treatments to work, unfortunately they proved to be unsuccessful. Chantels health is declining and treatment is no longer a viable option.

Chantel always undertook such procedures with a smile on her face and continues to be an amazing wife and mother to her 2 children from her bedside. She is the strongest woman I know, facing the unimaginable.

As Chantels best friend I'm trying hard to think of ways to help out as best I can. I'm asking family, friends even strangers if you could be generous enough to donate. Thank you for hearing my story, and let's see if we can make a difference.
