The Gilmore Family

In November of 2019, our friend and colleague, Mike Gilmore, was diagnosed with a grade 4 glioblastoma.  He had some of the tumor removed; however, it is growing back at a rapid rate. As a result, Mike is receiving daily radiation treatments in Philadelphia, and he is taking daily chemotherapy.  He and his wife, Nicole, are currently on medical leaves from their teaching careers in order to be able to manage Mike’s care and aggressive treatment plan. There has been an overwhelming response from our community in an effort to support the Gilmore family.  The meal train fills up the instant it is released.
