SCTeam 2023 Adopt a Family Fundraiser
Tax deductible
We would like to invite you to join our fourth annual fundraiser in our effort to adopt 20 families in need this holiday season. The last three years, your support has been overwhelming! We raised over $5,000 last year which provided gifts for 20 families who otherwise would not have had a Christmas. Our goal is to raise $6,000 this year and we need your help!
To further your gift, the SCTeam will be matching the first $2,500 raised, doubling your gift to help those in need! 100% of your donations will go directly to the needs and gifts for our twenty families. We know that we can accomplish big goals collectively and we appreciate your help!
As we all know, not everyone is as fortunate and blessed as many of us are. We will again be partnering with a great local charity that has identified families in need, Indy Vineyard Church and their Missional Food Pantry.
Our team's Associate Broker, Tonya Battee, volunteers--along with her family--at the pantry. It is an outreach ministry serving on average 65 families on the third Tuesday of each month. This time of year she organizes the Christmas Outreach to directly impact these families during the holiday season.
Thanks to your generosity last year, we were able to raise over $5,000 for food, gifts, and clothing for 20 families!
We would like to exceed our goal of raising $6,000 by December 17! This will allow us to provide an outfit and at least one other item from each family member’s Christmas wish list. Additionally, the food pantry will provide an abundance of groceries so each family can prepare their holiday feast!
Below is a testimonial from Tonya about her experience with the pantry:
“One of my all-time favorite things to do with the food pantry is coordinate the Christmas outreach for our guests. I am always humbled when I see their wish list, as so many of our guests ask for very simple items such as towels, blankets, undergarments, etc. On one father's wish list was a gift card to Steak-N-Shake to use to take his daughters on a daddy-daughter date. Year after year, our parents and grandparents come back and share their gratitude of being able to make memories with their children on Christmas morning. Many of them wake up to stockings, presents and create new holiday traditions. Through the generosity of others we are able to share with our guests in the magic of Christmas!”
