Ashneel Chand, 25yrs old of Vusiya Nausori has been having trouble with his eye sight, in 2019 he started losing sight to both his eyes and since than he had no option but to leave work and studies to stay home.

 

The doctors have recommended Cornea Transplant which is not medically done here in Fiji, for this he is now willing to travel to India. The family is also trying to reach out to Ministry of Health for financial support with his surgery but they need assistance with airfare, accommodation and food

 

Total approx cost currently being looked at including medical treatment, airfare, food and accommodation is F$20,000

 

Ashneel stays with his mother and two siblings, he lost his father 5years ago and since than his mother has been taking care of her children, she works at Mobil service station and earns enough to support families needs.
