Hi everyone! I’m Taylor’s sister Nicole and have created this gofundme on behalf of her boyfriend Justin.

On the night of July 6th, Justin was involved in a freak accident when a firework malfunctioned and blew up in his face. The ambulance immediately rushed him to Froedtert Trauma Center in Milwaukee. Justin’s injuries include a right ruptured eye, multiple corneal abrasions to his left eye, multiple facial fractures, second degree hand burns, removal of metal from his left eye and stitches to his nose. The surgeon was able to save his right eyeball, however, his long-term vision is not promised to return. Once his eye rupture is stable, Justin will then require another eye surgery to repair the eye wall bone. Because of the extent of his eye injury, he will be off of work for several weeks and due to his facial/eye trauma he will be unable to tend to his family which consists of 3 small children. We are praying for a miracle that Justin makes a full recovery and gains vision back in his right eye.

Justin will have multiple follow-up appointments, therapy, and a long road to recovery.
