If you're a stranger to me, I thank you for considering donating to my medical needs, however I implore you to seek out a trans BIPOC, I'm posting this as an easy access for friends and family that wish to assist me in these difficult times.
For my friends and family, most of you know my story, I'm transgender and currently facing access difficulties with my HRT medication. I'm currently in a very poor work situation, both in pay and covid conditions, but I have a plan for my future that will result in very excellent health coverage for trans folk, but it's still going to be at least 4 months at the earliest but until then I'm going to have at least a couple rounds of blood work, prescriptions, more office visits than necessary.... I only make $300 every two weeks at my current job. I just can't pay for the process I"m currently put through just to, feel human.
The number is arbitrary, some friends have reached out wanting to offer other ways to help me combat my gender dysphoria, getting more femme cloths, ear piercings, etc, I just wanted to make sure I set it high enough to keep it open while I am still in need. Once I have my new job and the insurance kicks in, if there are any donations left I'll seek out a black trans woman to donate the remaining funds.
