SCRUB HUB WANDSWORTH

During this pandemic, there is a national shortage of scrubs for our incredible NHS staff - As you can imagine, scrubs are in extremely high demand at this time and some Doctors that do not usually wear scrubs, are realising that this is the safest and easiest way to dress during this crisis.
Due to the nationwide lockdown, I have set up a sewing studio from home to provide scrubs to NHS staff living within my local area of Wandsworth, London, as well as provide urgent scrubs to the Covid centre in Soho.
The great news is I now have a growing small team of amazing volunteer sewers, and funds raised will be used solely to cover material costs so that we can make more scrubs and help more doctors and NHS workers. Any left over funds at the end of the shortage will be donated to the NHS Practitioner health - an organisation dedicated to supporting the unique needs of health care professionals and their mental health, which will be of such great importance in the coming months.
I realise this is a financially challenging time for most of us, but any small donation will really help us to keep sewing!
