Scripps Ranch 4th of July Parade 2021
All proceeds from this gofundme will go to the SR Civic Association. Covid derailed the official Scripps Ranch July 4th parade last year (unofficially we had a really small one see photo below), but not this year! The City of San Diego gave the Scripps Ranch Civic Association verbal approval to have a parade with less than 4 weeks of planning, which typically takes 4 months to plan! We will pull this off but we need your financial help!
This is the 50th Anniversary of the Scripps Ranch 4th of July parade. The parade theme is Celebrate Our Victorious Independence Day 2021
The Scripps Ranch Civic Association hosts the parade and there are many costs such as traffic control equipment rental, truck rental, two-way radio rental, insurance, printing, trash/recycling, and we have to pay San Diego Police Department for traffic control personnel for street closures. The cost is usually $7000. The parade is a community celebration with a small, hometown feel. Help us financially please to continue the great traditions of Scripps Ranch. Thank you for your support!
Thank you for your support! Our family has been truly blessed by living in Scripps Ranch and this being our 31st parade. I can't think of a better way to spend the 4th of July than being in Scripps Ranch with the Old Pro bike/run, SRCA parade, neighborhood BBQ, and then Scripps Mesa fireworks).
