The heroes in a half-shell return to the big screen this Summer to delight a new generation and we’ll be there to get as many underprivileged kids as we can the chance to enjoy it. After two successful events this year with Super Marios Bros. Movie and The Little Mermaid, we’re excited to bring the thrill of the Ninja Turtles to kids in need! As always, we need your help to get it done.

2023 has been incredible so far for ReelOutreach. After finally getting back in the swing of in-person events last year, we’re already on pace for more events this year. This August, Paramount brings the iconic Ninja Turtles back with a new animated film, Mutant Mayhem, and we couldn’t be more excited. TMNT has thrilled kids for generations and we want to ensure the kids who need the joy most get the chance to see it.

Once again we'll be working with local foster organizations and planning to rent out a theater for them to use. As we've done at previous events, we'll also be handing out concession stand gift cards to the kids in attendance, so they can get the snacks they want to enjoy throughout the film.

As you may have noticed, our funding request this time around is a smidge higher than usual. That’s because prices (as with everything) continue to increase in our area, and we want to ensure we can bring as many kiddos as possible to the event. Any additional funds beyond our goal will go towards our other upcoming events and general costs of running our operation.

At ReelOutreach, we believe that everyone deserves a night (or day) at the movies and that kids, who have no control over their circumstances, need it the most. Unfortunately, with rising costs for tickets and concessions, for many kids the enjoyment of sitting down to enjoy a film is sadly out of reach.

While many consider this a luxury, for kids in need it’s a chance to escape and feel normal. For those in foster care, orphanages, or group homes, the funding simply isn’t available for them to get treated to the movies.
