The Scream Fan Film

As a filmmaker, it's important to keep trying new things to grow continually. If you know my work, you know that I am not known for just one thing; but a multitude of original projects and fan films. And in an effort to continue my tradition of finding new ideas to tackle, I've set my sights on SCREAM! Yes, Wes Craven's SCREAM. For years I've been asked to make a Scream fan film, but it wasn't until 2022 that I finally came up with an idea worthy enough to try out. Scream has always been a meta-commentary on horror, so now it's time to comment on the world of fan films.

As an added bonus, this fan film will mark my FIRST joint venture. I will be teaming up with fellow filmmaker Dylan Sides of Controlled Chaos Films! You might know him from his viral fan film- REVENGE OF THE MASK! Dylan is an excellent cinematographer and producer, and I am excited to finally collaborate with someone like him.

But as usual, I'm going to need a little help making this project come to life. 2019 was a good year for Blinky Fan Films; because of you, I was able to make 27 awesome shorts! And despite this pandemic, I was still able to create 15 shorts in 2020 and 20 shorts in 2021. I see no reason to stop that momentum. So if you're a fan of Fan Films, Blinky Productions, or just looking to get some easy IMDB producer credits, chip and help me make this fan film!
