SCRAP Contingency Fund

SCRAP, the world’s first and oldest Creative Reuse Center, needs your help to prepare for some big and expensive potential changes! We have recently learned that the place SCRAP has called home for the past 19 years may be in need of substantial building upgrades. We are working with our generous partners at the San Francisco Unified School District to identify options for the continued operation of the SCRAP depot at its current location. However, there is the potential that SCRAP may need to find a new home.
SCRAP promotes creativity, education, and environmental stewardship. This is achieved through providing affordable access to both 1) reused arts and crafts supplies that would otherwise go to the landfill; and 2) training on creative reuse. We serve artists, classrooms, and the general public.
