Hi I’m Scrappy and I’m 2years old.

I began feeling unwell 23rd March and was not myself. I wasn’t really eating and was Lethargic. My mum took me to the vets to get checked and I left having an anti sickness injection and to see if I could eat. I had to go back to the vets in the afternoon for blood works. While I was home the vet called and my white cell count was low. We called the emergency vet out that night who gave me an antibiotic injection and pain relief. I also had a high fever.

In the morning I went to my vets again as I couldn’t move my neck. stayed in for the day, and was diagnosed with possibly having meningitis as I had all the symptoms.

I went home in the evening and was starting to slowly feel better.

I was being checked every other day and kept on improving and got my appetite back.

Until this week, I started to not feel myself again, lost my appetite, didn’t want any chicken ( my favourite).

My bloods were done again and was looking good, so me and my family couldn’t understand how I was going back.

This morning the 12th April I had a bad seizure and now I’m at the hospital having diagnostics treatment, including MRI, spinal Tap, more blood work.

I have lost over 3kgs in 2 weeks.

My owner unfortunately was very ill last year and was put in a very bad financial situation.

Scrappy is so loved by everyone even non family members. He likes to play with the kids outside, he loves to sunbathe in the garden. At night he loves his rubs and kisses before bed.

He loves dancing around the front room and laying just outside the kitchen when cooking. He is very attached to his mum, and didn’t leave her side while she was ill.
