Scrappy's Second Chance

Scrappy was seized from a puppy mill in Texas where he spent all his time locked up in a crate.  Imagine a puppy unable to run, play or receive the love and affection he so needs and desires.  He was placed in a high kill shelter where someone saw his potential and he found his way to Washington in hopes of becoming a working dog.  After he arrived, it was noticed that he had a little glitch in his giddy up and that he would not be able to be a working dog.  I got to spend some time with him, walked him around, gave him some love, which in return I got a lot back, and I realized this boy could not go back to a shelter.  He loves being loved!  I took him home and had X-rays done to find out the extent of this glitch.  Turns out he has a torn ACL, although you could hardly tell with all the running he’s been doing.  Great news is that surgery will give him what he needs to live a happy life and give him the opportunity to find his forever loving home.  From puppy mill to high kill shelter to running, playing and given unconditional love, that is what my goal is for him.  Please give Scrappy the second chance that he deserves and donate to his surgery, he’s only one year old.
