Tax deductible
Update 2:

Scrappy spent the day under observation with the day time vets office, and it was positive. He ate, stood up and walked a little. He does have some swelling on the right side of his face, and he has a splint on as his front right leg as it is broken in 2 places. Referral to Orthopedic Vet is being done. He is now in the home with his Foster and will be monitored and cared for.

Update:
He has a fractured leg in multiple places. He is stable and eating. He has been transferred to the day time vet. Vet invoice has been uploaded to the photos.

Meet Scrappy (Quick name for him) was hit by a car on Bear Valley between 11th and 7th. He had been seen in the area by different people over the past few days. When a Hamlet’s House and Pet Rescue volunteer seen him dodging traffic she stopped to help him. He had been hit by a car and was in bad shape. He was rushed to the emergency vet and is undergoing treatment now. He is alert and they will be doing bloodwork and X-rays to determine the full extent of his injuries. We will continue to update this area as we get more information. The current estimate from the veterinary office is $2500.
