Hi, my name is Finlay and I am a 13 year old Scout from St Andrews, Scotland and go to Madras College.

I have been lucky enough to be accepted to represent Scotland at the 2026 Icelandic jamboree at the outdoor Scout centre at Hamrar, Akureyri. A Jamboree is a large international gathering of Scouts, encouraging global friendship, cultural exchange, leadership and adventure through outdoor activities and shared experiences.

I am extremely happy that I have been given this opportunity, but in order to attend I need to raise £2,400 by the end of May. To raise this money, I plan to do some local litter picks, run a tombola, do a sponsored bike ride from St Andrews to Arbroath, fudge and bake sales, and I will also be contacting local business asking for donations.
