My name is Skylie Smith, I am part of Scouts BSA’s troop 841, and I am on the “Road To Eagle” which is the track to make the rank “Eagle”. One of the requirements is to carry out a project that benefits my community (religious institution, school, or just my community). The main goal of my Project is to provide handmade blankets to those in need (e.g. the elderly, people in hospitals, a church donation program, etc.) and provide a sort of pick-me-up for people who may feel unseen or upset in the environment or mindset that they are in. My beneficiary is linked to a church that has a program where the blankets will go to.
