Hi there! I'm Scott W. Prior, husband, mr. mom and artist. I have been given the opportunity to go and paint on location in historic, beautiful, old Havana, Cuba.
"Plein Air Magazine", has organized an amazing trip to Cuba where 100 plein air painters(landscape painters) will paint on location and make art history.
What an amazing opportunity to cross my path, but the unpredictable nature of art sales has my $ account a little low.

The $5000 cost was outside of what we could afford, for an artist "investment" and I I thought I wouldn't be able to go. A fellow artist/friend, jumped in and offered to loan me the funds to cover the cost of the trip.
As a stay at home dad, and full time painter, I want to guarantee the pay back comes soon to my friend, but artwork sales are never guaranteed.
Donate $50 + and you will receive a limited edition print of the cuban landscape, painted by me on location in Cuba.
Here's how the money will be used;
$3400 - 7 nights hotel, most meals are included and transportation in and around Cuba
$600 - roundtrip charter flight to and from Miami
$450 - roundtrip airfare, LAX to Miami
$550 - spending money/plus a little extra for all the taxes and extra fees that the Cuban government likes to charge tourists.
If I go over my goal, I will pay it forward to local artists in Cuba bringing them art supplys they can't get as easily as we can here in the U.S. things like brushes, sketchbooks and paint.
