Meet Scott

At just 38 years old, Scott’s life was turned upside down by a catastrophic stroke in April 2022. A passionate musician and finance assistant for a major hospitality company, Scott was fiercely independent—both at home and at work. He loved playing guitar, singing in his band, and tackling life with confidence. But the stroke left him facing an incredibly tough journey.

Scott spent 18 months in the hospital, battling infections and undergoing intensive physiotherapy. Today, at 41, he is a wheelchair user who can only walk short distances with a stick and support. He now requires full-time care from his partner, Fran, and extensive adaptations have been made to their home to accommodate his needs. Despite his challenges, Scott is determined to regain his independence, dignity, and ability to contribute again—both creatively and financially.
