Scott's Recovery Journey

The McFarlen family is facing an incredibly difficult journey after Scott thankfully survived a devastating accident. While we are beyond grateful that he is still with us, his recovery will be long and challenging, leaving the family struggling with medical bills, lost income, and daily living expenses.

On August 28th, 2024, our friend, Scott McFarlen, and his family had their lives turned upside down. His wife, Shai, was at work, the kids were in school, and Scott was working for a landscaping company trimming palm trees that day. Scott had been climbing trees and towers for a living for years and was no stranger to this, even in 110-degree weather. However, this day he needed a bee suit, so it was extremely hot and he possibly overheated. Scott has no memory of his fall, so what happened is still a mystery. He fell some 50+ ft and broke his back, hip, femur, tibia, wrist, and dislocated his elbow. He is paralyzed from the waist down. We are unsure as to how long this will be, but we believe in the power of prayer and are hopeful that he will regain full mobility!!!
