Post surgery update by Patrick Norquist: My sister, Anna Norquist, has a best friend, Scott Frisz, and he just had to have his left foot amputated. I consider this man just as much a brother as my flesh and blood. You can always count on him for smiles and laughter. No matter how much pain he was in, he was always there to help. After years of battling complications with his left foot, about a decade, it finally had to go. My sister being a quad amputee and her best friend just had to have an amputation... Some days he couldn’t even walk. He will have more mobility with his prosthetic than he did prior to. Let’s help him get there. I have no experience being a single father. But scott brings his son, Braydon, over to our house at least a few times a week. It’s the best. And I’m starting to get an idea of how costly raising a child can be. He took off work, obviously, to heal and that takes a huge chunk out of his income. Especially in economic times like this with the world changing and fear of unemployment. Bills add up fast. And you would be surprised how fast $5 donations add up. I couldn’t imagine how heavily having major surgery, taking work off, and raising a child could weigh down so hard on someone. All I ask is that you donate what you can and say a few prayers for a speedy recovery. And as my sister being a quad amputee, I do have a pretty good idea as to how that can effect a family financially. Medical bills, cost of supplies, and prosthetics are not cheap by any means. It’s great that Scott moved into his parents house while recovering. His parents are amazing people. We did the same. And it effects the entire households economic dynamic. This is for scott and his family. Especially that little boy Braydon. What an incredible addition to an amazing family. I beg you to give the same prayers and support to Scott and his family as you have shown my sister and my family. He has helped me more than he will ever know. He’s one of the best people I know. And I’ve come to respect him and look up to him. He handles his affair and takes care of the people he loves. Thanks to everyone for their prayers and support. Let’s help him get back on his feet.
