Scott Nordtome's Heart Journey and Brenda's Alzheimer's Care

Dear Friends, Family, and Supporters,
Our dear friend Scott Nordtome, Lewis and Clark librarian, is facing an incredibly difficult time, and he needs our support now more than ever.
In April, Scott will undergo a major open-heart surgery, a procedure that is necessary for his health and well-being. The recovery will be long and challenging, requiring not only physical healing but emotional strength. As if this weren’t already overwhelming, Scott is also caring for his wife, who has been diagnosed with early on-set Alzheimer's. The emotional and financial toll of this diagnosis is immense, as it requires constant care and attention.
Between the costs of his surgery, his wife’s medical needs, and the time he must take off of work, Scott is facing significant financial and emotional burdens. Medical bills, medications, therapy, and the expenses associated with 24/7 care for his wife are piling up, and Scott is struggling to manage it all on his own.
This GoFundMe campaign has been set up to offer Scott the support he so desperately needs during this incredibly difficult time. Every dollar raised will go directly toward helping with medical expenses, the cost of caring for his wife, and providing financial relief so that Scott can focus on his recovery and caring for his loved ones.
Here’s how you can help:
Donate: Any amount you can contribute will make a huge difference in Scott’s journey. No donation is too small.
Share: Spread the word about this campaign with your network. The more people who know, the more support Scott can receive.
Offer Emotional Support: Your words of encouragement, prayers, and support mean the world to Scott and his family. Let them know they’re not alone in this battle.
Scott is facing an uphill battle with both his own health and his wife’s condition, but with your help, we can ease some of the burdens they’re carrying. Let’s come together to show Scott that he’s not alone and that we’re here to support him during this challenging time.
Thank you so much for your kindness, generosity, and love. Every contribution makes a difference, and Scott and his family are truly grateful for your support.
