Scott Prinz - Kidney donor

Many of you know that our dear friend, Toni Summers has been suffering from gradually declining kidney function for the last few years. It was recently determined that she would need to go on dialysis unless she underwent a kidney transplant.

Some of you might also have known that last year, God laid it on the heart of our brother-in-law, Scott Prinz, to offer Toni one of his kidneys. By the grace of God, everything turned out to be a match - in fact, the doctors said that the degree to which their blood markers matched is usually only found among parents and siblings! It is amazing to see God at work !

So, after months and months of medical tests, the surgery is finally scheduled for Wednesday, October 14.

Scott is a small business owner (Landkeepers, Inc) and when he misses work, there is no sick pay to compensate for lost time.  The doctor told Scott that he would not be able to lift anything over 10 lbs. for 2 months. Just about everything he works with is over 10 lbs.!
