On Saturday morning, June 17, 2017, our family's lives changed. Scott, a father, husband, son, and friend, was in a horrible motorcycle accident up in Angeles Crest that caused him to be airlifted to LA County USC Medical Center. We are so lucky to still have him with us.
Due to the fact that he suffered a serious concussion, bruised lungs, liver and kidney damage, several broken ribs, fractured left shoulder, open fracture to the left wrist, some soft tissue damage to the right shoulder (awaiting an MRI at this time), and a sprained left ankle, he will be unable to work for some time as a self-employed personal trainer. His left wrist required surgery wherein a metal plate, 5 screws and 2 pins were inserted. His road to recovery is going to be long because he is unable to take care of himself. He is unable to eat, move or use the facilities unassisted. Because of this, we are now down an income and I will be taking a leave of absence from work as well to care for him.
With these losses of income, the bills, unfortunately, do not stop and now we have a number of medical expenses to account for. He will require multiple doctors visits, physical therapy, and prescription medications. On behalf of my husband, daughters, and myself anything that you can do to assist us at this time will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you so much from the Milton's!!
