Support for Scott Karns and family

Scott Karns is a lot of things to a lot of people, but mostly he is a husband (to Simone , father (to Mason - almost 11 and Ruby, 7), a great friend to so many, and a hard working man who makes his living in lawn care and landscaping. He is the kind of guy who goes out of his way to be generous, giving and helpful.
On May 1, 2016, while driving not far from his home, Scott lost control of his truck, flipping it and hitting a tree. Thankfully, he walked away from the accident with no serious injuries. However, tests following the accident brought life-changing news. At the E.R., a CT scan revealed lesions on his brain. A follow-up MRI showed a mass (tumor) on his brain. A biopsy determined that the tumor is a low grade astrocytoma stage 2 - a diagnosis confirmed at a separate medical facility. The VERY good news is: this is a slow going tumor and it is not cancer. However, if left untreated, it has the potential to become cancerous and fatal. Indeed, Scott has lost family members to this very type of tumor. Scott will undergo brain surgery July 14. His recovery is expected to take at least 4 to 6 weeks, possibly more. Because he is self-employed, he is not eligible for disability - even short term Social Security benefits.
He and his family need our help!
The summer season is Scott's busy season - it's when he earns a large portion of his annual income. And because of this health challenge, he is unable to work during these crucial months. The Karns family would greatly appreciate your generosity as they face this crisis.
Please give anything you can to get Scott, Simone, Mason and Ruby through the next few months and please continue to send your prayers as well. They really appreciate them!
