Scottie & Jetta Rose Mickelsen Fund

Hello, my name is Dan Whalen and I'm creating a gofundme campaign to help support my brother-in-law Scottie Mickelsen and his two kids (ages 3 & 4) after the devasting and sudden loss of his wife and my sister Jetta Rose Mickelsen.

Jetta passed away suddenly from a silent illness that plagues our society. She took her own life after a long battle with depression. Most people weren't aware of the silent struggles she endured everyday. People also don't realize and understand that depression is a disease that affects millions of people and is misunderstood by millions more.

Jetta was a great mother and she loved her cute babies. She had the support of her incredible husband Scottie who was the best thing to happen to her besides having two beautiful children. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

Please find it in your hearts to donate whatever you can to help Scottie cover the expenses of being a single father of two deserving kids and cover upcoming medical and living expenses. Scottie will be living with close relatives until he can find a new place for him and his kids so part of the donations will help cover housing expenses too.

Any amount donated will help and will go directly to Scottie and his children. Scottie appreciates the outpouring of love and is thankful for the support he's already recieved.
