Scott Findlay Final Farewell

Scott was a gentle, kind man. He looked forward to one day proposing to his girlfriend, being a stepdad to her daughter, and a father to their own son they’re expecting in a few weeks.
In August 2017 Scott suffered an accident that put him into a coma. Over the next few days we learned that he had a massive traumatic brain injury and was brain dead. As a family, we decided to delay removing him from life support to allow the gift of life organization to arrange organ donations. Despite the pain of losing him, we can think of nothing better than the idea of his passing helping others live.
We’re asking for help in paying for the expenses of the funeral home, the cemetery fees, and other related costs.
Our mother Alice Findlay will be responsible for handling the final expenses.
There are few words to say how much your contribution means to our family. Nothing can ever replace his life, but knowing he had a decent burial will mean more than words can express.
With an open heat and a broken spirit we extend our words of THANKS. The gift of life organization will also provide a certificate of the number of people who Scott’s donation helped and we’ll post that as an update later so everyone can know the good that came from his passing.
