Hi! I'm Scott Cherry, a PGA Professional in Rancho Mirage, CA. Over the winter months, I teach full time at Mission Hills Country Club, and during the summer I have the opportunity to travel and compete in golf tournaments on the local, regional, and national stages.

At last year's SCPGA Section Championship, I tied for 6th out of 169 players, which qualified me for the National PGA Professional Championship (PPC). The top 20 players from the PPC are exempt into the PGA Championship, the second major on the PGA Tour! This is my first time having this opportunity, and I'm extremely excited to compete at this level.

This is where the GoFundMe comes in. Traveling and playing in these tournaments is not cheap, and I'm hoping to find some help to cover my expenses, which include: entry fees, flights, hotels, rental cars, practice round fees, yardage books, food, and caddy fees. Every cent of what is received in this fundraiser will go towards supporting my golf journey over the summer and fall of 2025.
