Dad (Scott Hicks) was diagnosed September 4, 2019 with stage 4 Colon cancer that has spread into his liver and bone creating a large mass to grow on his hip that is excruciatingly painful. The last few of months have been very challenging while we have searched for a diagnosis. While it was not the answer we had hoped for, we are glad to know what has caused his unbearable pain. The pain has been physically and mentally draining for him. The cost of treatments that insurance does not cover has been sudden and unexpected. This is adding up quickly and causing additional stress and worry that he does not need to focus on at this time as he needs all of his strength to get through the chemo treatments.
