Scott, or Scoot as he was known to many was a life long professional wrestling fan who achieved his dream of becoming a wrestler in 2002 having worked locally, all across the United States as well as trips to the United Kingdom and Australia. Known as 'Big Cat' his trademark tiger suit accented with claws and paws made him a main attraction on any show he was on. Crowds often cheering 'Let's Go Big Cat, Meow, Meow, Meow' in support of him. He won titles across many different companies, having matches against his friends and even some larger named world talent. He was someone who loved a great laugh and to make others share in that, even if his sense of humour wasn't always for everyone he made it a point to be a little ridiculous and push the boundaries to get the people that were around him to laugh uncontrollably.
He loved to find new, exciting or interesting restaurants to eat at any place that he was. Finding small, hidden in a corner pizza places while in Vegas or lavish pasta restaurants with portions so large you think you'll never finish it, he got very excited about making plans to go visit these locations he discovered. His love of movies over the past 10 years was a driving force in his work doing live streams and podcasts with his closest friends having spent his time enjoying films from all over the world and then spending hours talking about the ones he liked or didn't like.
He loved his cats greatly. He was a big proponent of 'everyone should own a cat' and 'why own a dog when you could own a cat'. He lost his beloved Koji a few years back, and he said both 'I don't think any cat could ever replace him' while also saying 'I want to get another cat'. Which he did in his beloved Sebastian "Seb'. Anywhere you went and there was a cat you'd better believe he's gravitating towards it before any people, while unashamedly baby talking to that cat until it let him give it scritches and cuddles.
Scott has amazing, loving, supportive parents and sister who must have thought 'you're going to be a wrestling tiger?. Yeah, that's you.' He cherished spending time with them having family dinners, trips to Tofino and just in general being a family unit. During the pandemic lockdown, Scott decided he wasn't going to trim his beard at all because who cared. That year for their family trip to Tofino, he was informed by his sister that there was no way he was coming with them unless he looked presentable. He had a tough decision to make. Go with his family to a wonderful ocean side resort town... or keep the beard. Family time won out.
The past several days have been spent hearing amazing stories about his kind heart, his friendship and his connection with many, many people, some of which he was only on a internet connection basis with but yet he still was able to make these connections with everyone despite that.
So, if you feel inclined, donate what you can. A little. A lot. Scoot would be truly grateful and happy to see everyone doing what they can in support of his family and loved ones.
Any additional funds will be used as a donation to the local SPCA in Scott's name to help support a much needed cause.
