On June 28th, the Wentz Family suddenly lost their beloved husband and father, Scott, to a tragic accident. There are no words to express the deep sadness we all feel. During this incredibly difficult time, any support you can give the family is appreciated. Specifically, at the request of the family, we've created this page to set up a college fund for Scott & Cheryl's youngest daughter, Emma.

Cheryl has been a dear friend of mine for years. My husband and I are blessed to have known Cheryl and Scott and their wonderful kids for a long time. I've never set up a GoFundMe before, but I'm happy to help the family out by facilitating this. Their daughter, Karis, sent me the beautiful photos you see on this page. Please rest assured that the Wentz Family is the sole beneficiary of this fundraiser and that donations will go directly to the family's account.

The Wentz Family invites you to join them for Scott's memorial service on July 8, 2025 at NorthBridge Church, 18724 Illinois 173, Antioch, Illinois. Visitation is at 3:30pm and the service begins at 6:30pm.
