Hi, this fundraiser is for Scott Wentz Jr. As most of you know Scott was in a bad dirtbike accident. All proceeds will help Scott with bills and any medical expenses that arise from his care, plus extended rehab that he will need. Scott had no insurance at the time of his accident and will need any help he can get. He will have a lengthy road to recovery

Some details on his accident are as follows..

He tried to triple the jump and he cased the last jump. The bike nosed dive and he flew over the handle bars and face planted the next jump. Pretty much scorpioned, his feet were above his head then he twisted and flew another 10 ft and twisted his leg and he landed.

He had surgery already. They did a t3-10 spinal fusion. The doctor who did his surgery said he could only comment on his back injury. He not only fractured his back but he dislocated it as well. There was trauma to his spinal chord that injured it, but he cant say for certain to what extent. He said its about a 10-20% chance of gaining back function ( he don't know Scott). His femur and his hip were also fractured they completed their surgery on that. He did not have to open Scott up for that and was able to complete it microscopically.

He did have a small pneumothorax but his oxygen levels are good and he is having no respiratory issues right now. They switched him to a nasal cannula. He is in a lot of pain, but they were trying to control.

He also has some fractured ribs. A fractured right wrist.
