Scott Weber help with bills after assault

Hi everyone
My name is Bill Michener and I have started a GoFundMe page for a dear friend and long time employee of Lighthouse Scott Weber. Scott has been a huge advocate for youth in Lincoln working both at Lighthouse and at CEDARS. Many of you probably know and or have seen him in action working with students, and have witnessed his passion for helping kids and his warm, happy-go-lucky attitude.
On December 30th, Scott was robbed and viciously assaulted by three individuals near Holmes Lake. The assailants stole his wallet, phone and other personal items from his car. They also severely assaulted him and left him for dead. Fortunately, the next morning, a passerby notice him slumped over in his car and called 911. Scott was rushed to the hospital with severe head trauma and fractures in his face.
Scott is now recovering in acute rehabilitative care, and will be there for quite a while. There are going to be many trials moving forward (emotional, physical, etc.), but if you know Scott… he’ll rise up. Unfortunately, there are also going to be significant medical costs and bills associated with this incident. Because of his injury, Scott will be unable to work. As a result, he will have limited funds to pay bills, deductibles, rent and for basic necessities.
