Scott Shepard Medical & Store Expenses

Hi, this is Scott’s daughter, Emma. My family has been very reluctant to post this, but we have received an outpouring of support and an overwhelming number of people have asked us to make a GoFundMe so that they can support my dad right now. On Monday morning, my dad was sent to the ER with fluid in his lungs that made it difficult to breathe and led to congestive heart failure. He has since been staying in the ICU. He should be home shortly, but he has a very long road to recovery ahead of him. The financial weight of closing the store down this week has been very heavy and he insists on going to work the second he’s out of the hospital despite the fact that he needs a long time to heal and rest. With your help, we can keep him at home long enough to get better and make sure his store and medical expenses are taken care of in the meantime. My dad means more than words to me and so many others- we are of the belief that toxic stress got him in the hospital in the first place and our only hope is to alleviate some of that burden so that he can heal.
