My beloved husband of nearly 40 years, moved to Heaven after a fast & furious battle with cancer. It was shocking to receive this news just a couple of months ago, learning that he was already in stage 4 esophageal cancer that had metastasized to his liver. It was his diseased liver that was taking his life very fast.
Scott was surrounded by loved ones praying & escorting him to that door of transition. I can't begin to imagine how incredible he feels now, seeing the beauty of Heaven. Experiencing deep heartache & great loss while rejoicing seems irreconcilable to some, but as followers of Jesus, it is very reconcilable. The gift of salvation & eternal life becomes quite clear to reconcile grief with rejoicing. Jesus offers us all an incredible gift if we simply say yes to receiving it.
Scott was a good man, husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, provider, musician, teacher, counselor, mentor, spiritual father to many and pastor. He was talented in many things & held with high esteem in his career field as an union electrician, city inspector, apprenticeship instructor and design consultant.
We have 2 special days of celebrating my husband. 12/09/57 was his physical birthday and now 12/08/18 is Scott's birthday into eternity.
On that day when I join you Scott, I would love another dance with you to Peter Frampton's "Baby, I love Your Way"! Thank you for loving me so deeply & for our babies we had together! So proud of who you are & proud to have been your wife all these years! I love you forever!
Happy, Happy Birthdays my beloved!
