Dear friends, family, and kind-hearted individuals,

We come to you today with heavy hearts, sharing a deeply
heart-wrenching incident that has affected Scott and his family during
what should have been a joyous camping trip. The accident that
unfolded has left us all in shock and pain.

As the family made a quick stop to attend to one of their children's
needs, an unforeseen explosion occurred inside the camping trailer.
Scott, who was nearby, bore the brunt of the explosion, causing
significant burns to a substantial portion of his body. The fire
swiftly spread, engulfing the entire trailer, truck, and their beloved
belongings in devastating flames.

Thanks to the timely response of emergency services, Scott was
airlifted to the Burn ICU by AIRMED. The extent of his injuries
includes severe 2nd-degree burns covering 20% of his body. Currently,
he is stable, but the road to recovery is filled with immense pain and
frustration, especially as he was already in the process of healing
from a previous bicycle accident. Medical experts are carefully
assessing his condition to determine if skin grafts will be necessary
for his healing journey.

As we rally together to support Scott in his fight for recovery, we
hold on to hope and are incredibly grateful that he is alive.
Nevertheless, the emotional toll on the entire family is profound, and
we find comfort in knowing that the children and his wife are safe
despite their shaken state.

The loss of all their possessions, packed for what was meant to be a
week of cherished memories, is undoubtedly distressing. Yet, amidst
this tragedy, they recognize that material possessions can be
replaced, and what truly matters is the love, support, and prayers
they receive during this trying time. Scott's resilience shines
through, and the family believes in the power of positive energy and
good vibes to help them through this difficult journey.

Today, we humbly ask for your compassion and support in any way you
can offer. The medical expenses and the long road to recovery ahead
are daunting, and the family cannot navigate this alone. Your generous
contributions, no matter how small, will make a significant difference
in their lives.

For those who are unable to provide financial assistance, please know
that your thoughts, prayers, and positive energy are equally valued
and appreciated. Together, as a community, we can send Scott all the
love and strength he needs to overcome this hardship.

We kindly request that you share this fundraiser with your friends and
acquaintances, allowing us to extend our reach and touch the hearts of
more caring souls. Let us unite in supporting one of our own during
this time of dire need.

The family is truly grateful for your love and support. Regular
updates on Scott's progress will be shared, and we thank you
wholeheartedly for being a part of Scott's life and assisting him and
his family through these challenging times.

With heartfelt gratitude,

The entire BCC community is standing with Scott and his family.
