Hi my name is Trisha, my dear friend lost her love, her life partner, our friend Scott Obey suddenly and unexpected. Eda is working to finalize the best way to memorialize his memory. I wanted to help, my thought was to lessen the burden of the cost involved and any final expenses. Any extra funds will be donated to charity. Here are Eda's words that I would like to share.

Dear Everyone,

 

My husband Scott Obey passed away on Tuesday March 8,2022 of a massive heart attack. He died at home. It was sudden and he didn’t suffer. We were happy and both in a really good place. He was about to teach another senior learning class at CSULB and we were seriously talking about moving to the UK in the next few years to live near our family out there. He loved teaching, traveling, being a super nerd, and making music. I know you were all very special to him (especially his students). I will get you memorial details as soon as we figure them out. If you want to donate to a charity in his name, Long Beach City College has an HHS fund (Helping Homeless Students) that provides immediate funds and housing to homeless students. He would love that.
