Hi, my name is Tricia and I am seeking assistance with fundraising for my 10 year old nephew, Scott McKinley, and his family.

Wednesday August 21st, Scott was in an unforeseen accident and taken to Sick Kids Hospital where he is under medical treatment and observation due to a bruised liver and fluids in the abdomen.

Its been a long week and a half for Scott, his parents Les and Rachel (O’Brien) and there three other young kids.

Scott had a bit of a set back last night and today underwent a medical procedure to drain the fluids to assist with his recovery.

They have a long road ahead of them with Rachel staying in Toronto with Scott 24/7 and Les home with the other three kids. This will have a huge financial impact on this family while they try to support Scott’s recovery as well the cost of living while his mom stays in Toronto and continues to miss work and incur additional costs such as accommodations and meals.
