Scott MacDonald’s Fight with MSA
Donation protected
Friends,
Friends and family of Scott MacDonald were devastated to learn that he has recently been diagnosed with a rare neurological disease known as Multiple System Atrophy (MSA). It originally appears as Parkinson's Disease, but is much worse in the significance of the impairment it causes. There is no known cure other than management and ongoing care.
Recently, in an attempt to improve his quality of life, Scotty embarked on an experimental stem cell treatment on February 19th, which is being administered by a clinic in Mexico. In a few weeks he will be traveling to Mexico to take the next step in the process.
A donor close to Scotty has generously offered to cover half of the cost. I'm launching this campaign to raise money to support some of the costs of the treatment and travel.
Please consider helping out. The MacDonald family and friends would be very grateful to you.
