Scott LeBlanc and Family

Scott Leblanc, a father of 7, was in a devastating car accident on July 23rd when a drunk driver swerved into his lane and hit his truck head-on. Scott's clavicle, sternum, ribs, and femur were broken in the accident. As a result of the injuries he sustained, he's had several surgeries, one of which was to install a rod in his leg as his femur suffered a blunt break. Scott has been hospitalized for several weeks now while he's undergoing extensive bouts of physical therapy after being released from ICU. The hospital has given no indication of a release date.

As one can imagine, this has been a tremendous strain on Scott and his family. While it is still unclear what coverage the drunk driver has, Scott has out-of-pocket medical expense mounting. Sadly, he's also learned that his company does not offer short-term disability, which means that he's suffered lost wages through all of this too.

No one ever expects circumstances such as these, but we all pray that when we find ourselves in a time of need that we'll have friends and family willing to help put us back together.
