Late last year Scott was diagnosed with non-alcoholic cirrhosis of the liver. The disease was fastmoving, aggressive, and has now progressed to stage 4 in less than 8 months.  Everyone who's known Scott knows him as a magnetic, fun-loving guy; always up for a laugh and always the life of the party. The physical toll on his body is undeniable and its become more apparent that we have to act now to help him and his family. 

After some surprising twists, he was left without health insurance for much of his initial diagnosis but was finally able to gain some limited coverage in April this year. The plan is to get him to full coverage by November but in the interim, the costs are astronomical.  Scott will need a liver transplant, and while things appear optimistic, he needs financial support until his new insurance starts. Due to Scott's condition, every 7-10 days he requires an $1,100 medical procedure that drains multiple liters of fluid from his abdomen and lung. He is at a point where he's fighting for time as the transplant application process wages on. 

Without a doubt, Scott Lawhon is one the kindest and most charismatic people I have ever met and he deserves to get through this disease. We cannot thank you enough for you generosity in supporting Scott to bridge this financial gap until November of 2020.
