Hello all.  As some of you already know, Scott Johnston was diagnosed with 9/11 related cancer a while ago.  He has battled and unfortunately suffered some setbacks. He was a Sgt. and SBA Delegate in QSTF and is currently assigned to SRG-4.  He is also an ex-Captain in the Levittown Fire Department. In a nutshell, Scott is a true gentleman and has done so much for so many people in the city, in his hometown community and most of all, for his wife and seven daughters. His wife Kristin has taken a leave from work to stay home and be with Scott and the family.  This will be a tremendous help to them so she can focus on what is important now, family, and not worry about the loss of another paycheck. His volunteer Fire Department is hosting a benefit in his honor with all proceeds donated directly to the Johnston family. Please try to come out and support Scott "Brutis" Johnston and his family on Sunday December 1st at Mr. Beery's located at 4019 Hempstead Tpke. in Bethpage from 2pm until 7pm, and please share this post with anyone else who you think may be interested.  If you cannot attend the event, or just wish to make a donation, it can be done here.
