Hi, as many of you know, Scott Hutton suffered a stroke on August 30, 2023. He has been at Sumner Regional Medical Center for 2 weeks, including undergoing extensive inpatient therapy. He is coming home Thursday, September 14th. While his family is excited for him to come home, they are going to experience some hardships other than his physical and mental care. His wife, Kelly, has taken leave from her job to be his caregiver, as he will require someone with him at all times. Scott of course, will be unable to work for the foreseeable future. The doctors and therapists have said it will be anywhere from 6 months to a year before they will know his long term prognosis. He has made a lot of progress, but he still has a long road ahead. Both being self-employeed, they do not have insurance, so all money will go to medical bills and living expenses as needed.
