Help Scott Hinds Finish His Coin Collection!

If you have ever met my dad - you love him with all your heart. He is so beloved that countless people have asked how they can help our family as Dad continues his battle with metastatic pancreatic cancer.

Well - we have a way!

Dad recently rediscovered his passion for coin collecting. This hobby has revitalized his days, bringing joy and enthusiasm for life that has led to physical benefits as well. His appetite has returned, he is regaining some strength as he walks to and fro examining his collection, and our afternoons are spent traveling to different coin shops to find treasures.

Dad is down to ONE COIN left to complete his prized penny collection.

EDIT: We mt our original goal almost immediately! In order to connect as many people as possible to dad, we have upped the goal and will leave this open for a few more days. Excess funds beyond the original coin will be used to take dad on a coin shopping spree... one beyond his wildest dreams...funded by all the amazing people whose lives he's touched in his own incredible, love-filled life.

Dad is convinced he will NEVER see this collection complete because the remaining coin, a 1909-S VDB Lincoln Penny costs nearly $1000. We have located the penny at a coin dealer in Nashville at the price of $950 and would LOVE to surprise him with it as a gift from all of his friends and family, near and far. Much more than a penny, this coin would be a physical reminder to him of the remarkable life of love and friendship he has shared with us all and the love he has received from you in return.
