It's with a heavy heart that I share with you the tragic event that happened on Sunday, March 26, 2017.   Scott Michael Henbest had a massive heart attack while driving on the LIE, veered off the road, crashed and passed away at Southside Hospital.
Scott had a strong family network.  He is pre-deceased by his father and birth mother, Ross Henbest and Kathy Fleming.  He is survived by his mother Robin Henbest Lauer and his 2 sisters, Karrie and Taryn.  He was an amazing part of this family and will be honorably missed.
He leaves behind his pride and joy, 4 nieces, Danielle, Lauren, Catabrie and Lillyana. 
He also leaves behind his partner, Caryn Carrillo and her 2 kids, Jolene and Tyler.  Caryn and Scott have been together for 6 1/2 years and he was their sole caretaker.  This accident has hit this family very hard.  I have put this page together to help Caryn and her kids be able to maintain and have a home to live in.  We appreciate all your help and support.
