Hello, I am Jamielee Ferguson & am trying to raise to money to help my father, Scott Ferguson with his journey to battle his cancer.

1.5 years ago Scott was diagnosed with esophageal cancer which is one of the most aggressive & toughest cancers to survive.

Each year 2700 people are diagnosed with this cancer & each year 2500 succumb to this disease.

When Scott was diagnosed, the first year he under went Chemotherapy & Radiation. Unfortunately, those treatments didn't work. After trips to Kingston & Toronto for doctors appointments, they decided that surgery was not an option & are continuing to do more radiation treatment.

My father has endured such a battle of the past year, & will continue to do so for quite some time ahead.

With myself living in Alberta & him residing in Ontario, I am now taking time away from my job to be home with him & care for him.

Our health system can only do so much to help with expenses for travel, accommodations, bills that are piling up & even food to survive.

Not being able to have a steady income in this time of need, my father's journey is going to be difficult.

So I am here today, asking for help from our community.

My father when I was growing up always put others before him, & showed me how kind & generous a human should be to others, & to never expect anything from them.

He is the most strongest & independent person i know, but there comes a time where you must ask for help through your hardship & struggle.

So I ask today, if there is any little bit you can put towards our journey through this, we both are extremely appreciated. ❤️
